GIVING CHALLENGE OPPORTUNITY FOR GIVING TUESDAY
– Make your gift count!
This Giving Tuesday, we challenge you to come together and make a difference for our community by supporting high-quality, safe healthcare at Methodist Hospital of Southern California.
You have a special opportunity to join with others and amplify your gift through a challenge from the Chair of USC Arcadia Hospital Foundation Board Susan Woo.
For the first 25 individuals who make a gift of support, of any amount, from November 18 to December 3 at 11:59pm PST through our online giving page, Susan will donate $2,500 to the USC Arcadia Hospital!
Susan Woo is the 2019 Chair of USC Arcadia Hospital Foundation Board. She was taught by her parents to always give back to the community, and this is what she enjoys most. She is a local businesswoman who believes in perseverance, tenacity, and hard work. From 2010-2017, she volunteered her time on the College Business and Economics Advisory Board at California State University of Los Angeles.
“Giving is a legacy passed down from my parents. My dad used to tell me ‘To be able to give is a privilege. Be blessed and thankful for having that opportunity.’ So I am thankful for this opportunity.”

About Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday harnesses the generosity of millions of people around the world to support the causes they believe in and the communities in which they live. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, and fueled by the power of social media and collaboration, Giving Tuesday inspires millions of people across the globe to donate to causes and issues that matter to them. The goal is to create a massive wave of generosity that lasts well beyond that day, and touches every person on the planet. Giving Tuesday takes place on December 3rd this year.
